I conducted an interview with my good old friend and movie fanatic Joe Jenkins. We watched the opening scene of The Usual Suspects (Singer, 1995). We then discussed in depth the opening and good conventions of a thriller, and how if I were to make an opening to a thriller I would need to incorporate these aspects as well.
