The similarities and differences between a character from our film and another film who are similar -
The mysteries guy/stalker(Arthur Polley)
and Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson)
similarities: - both are hunting people down , but 'Bryan' reason we know of but the 'Guy' we dont
- both have alot more to them than first meets the eye
- both follow people to get their goal
-both had training in fighting and both are clear to plan out what they are going to do
- both can go unnoticed
- it is like the 'Guy' is copying 'Bryan' but are doing it for what we think are bad reasons
difference:- their goals are different
-we dont know much about 'Guy ' because we only have a opening but if we had the whole film then there would be a lot more similarities.
- the 'Guy' is a lot more mysterious,
-'Bryan' is trying to get his daughter back whereas the 'Guy' is trying to kidnap the 'Boy'
Gender:
I think that it could be for both genders but if i had to say on then i would say for males ,
i feel like this is to much action and violence for females if you think stereotypical , because if you think that way then females are more into the love and romance compared to a action thriller. But on the other hand it does have a main female lead and so it could interest females a lot more. also there is a idea of romance due to the boy and girl seeming to be a couple , and you dont know the rest of the story it could even be that the guy is jealous so he wants him out of the picture.
Age:
I feel the age of the film would be 15 and so it would be best for older teenagers. i feel that they can relate to the people a lot more because the 2 main characters are around the same age as them , also many thriller are aged 15 so it shows its the perfects age for a thriller. however they dont know the age of the stalker and when he was sitting down he picked up a newspaper hat could give the idea of that he is older due to the stereotype.
Class:
I guess it more for a middle class because of what the characters are wearing and the fact that they are getting a train what many middle class people use
